Create Creative Content on Your Lunch Hour

Create Creative Content on Your Lunch Hour

lunch-300x202Content marketing begins with creating quality content, which really doesn’t have to be that intimidating. We’ve all been creating content since coloring outside the lines in preschool. But writing the right content and thinking outside those lines for your audience is what counts. Start slowly–even on your lunch hour or set aside an hour to explore this space each day.

Let’s say you sell trucking hitches. And your hitches are the best–made of an indestructible alloy. You should write about the story of your hitch–how it has evolved to this supreme product and how it has helped ferry products across the nation safely. Perhaps you cultivate Facebook users with catchy trucking or ‘bad hitch’ stories and how yours is different.  Creative content for LinkedIn trucking user groups is also a target. So after you monitor these groups, you see the types of people who are active there. Note their interests and pain points. Follow them, interact with them and see what content makes them engage.

One hour per day adds up to lots of on-the-job knowledge, then you will soon become a master content creator or at least one who can tell your agency or content marketer the types of content to create and curate on THEIR lunch hours.
